Alison Doody
Alison Doody has been an Irish actor and model since 11 November 1996. Following her small debut performance as an archaeologist Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989's Elsa Schneider - a Nazi-sympathizing character in A View to a Kill (Bond film 1985), she went onto portray the Nazi-sympathizing Elsa Schneider. Siobhan donavan was in A Prayer for the Dying in 1987. Charlotte appeared in Taffin (in 1998) as well as Rebecca Flannery played Major League II. Doody became a model after her being approached by a hopeful photographer. She has since evolved into commercial modelling. Doody strictly avoided glamour, nudity and thongs during her modeling career. In 1985, following being noticed by the casting directors of an upcoming James Bond new film, Doody was cast in a minor portion of Jenny Flex as in A View to a Kill. Doody appeared on John Willis Screen World Volume 2. She was one of twelve promising young actors for the year 1986. 38. Doody was just turning 18 when she took on the character as a Bond girl. She is still the youngest Bond girl. Another film from her early days played a tiny part in the film in a small role as IRA member Siobhan Donovan in A Prayer for the Dying (1987) that featured Mickey Rourke. Doody played Archibald Craven's wife Lilias as he portrayed his fantasy in the television adaptation The Secret Garden. Doody was Sapsorrow in the episode of Jim Henson's fable show The Storyteller, opposite John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. She also appeared as Pierce Brosnan on the movie Taffin. Her most notable part to date was that of Austrian Nazi sympathizer as well as archaeologist Dr. Elsa Schneider opposite Harrison Ford in the 1989 film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody has worked with three James Bond actors. Doody was in the British miniseries Selling Hitler with Jonathan Pryce. It was based on the Hitler Diaries publication scam. Then she moved to Hollywood. She went on as Flannery the agent of Charlie Sheen and partner in Major League II. She had been chosen as the replacement for Cybill Shepherd, who was once L'Oreal's spokeswoman. The year 2004, she was in the film with Patrick Swayze alongside a TV adaptation of King Solomon's Mines. Also Doody was as a character in Benjamin's Struggle (2005), a pamphlet describing the Holocaust. Doody was a part-time actress in Danny Dyer's film The Rapture (2010). Doody was a guest on RTE's Medical drama The Clinic. The project was later shelved. Pam Jefferson is her role in the E4 Comedy Drama Beaver Falls' first of two seasons. In 2014 she starred in We Still Kill the Old Way. The Almeria tierra de film award was given to her on November 21, 2018. The actress also was given one of the stars at the Almeria Walk Of Fame.
